In the framework of the Project DualAFS-“DUAL Curricula – Study and Work Practice in Agriculture and Food Safety” from 24 – 29 September 2023, are organized the following activities:
- Training “DigiMentor” which was held by Professor Hannu Viitala, Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. This training provided concepts of practical application of technology to support teachers according to their needs in planning, designing, testing, implementing, and further developing course structure and content or methods and tools used in e-learning.
- Workshop “Working life-oriented teaching methods” which was developed by Kaisa Hyvönen from Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. This seminar focused on the theoretical foundations and practical applications of teaching concepts oriented towards working life. The first day provided a solid understanding of these concepts while the second day focused on their real-world application.
The training took place at the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, while the workshop took place at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary, University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina”.
These activities were organized in an extremely professional manner, but all the information that was shared with us gave us a new perspective. Also, the material provided and the discussions that took place were very motivating and made it very easy to understand the concept of the training and workshop.
On behalf of everyone who participated in the “DigiMentor” training and the “Working life-oriented teaching methods” workshop, we thank the staff of the University of Savonia for sharing their excellent learning experience with all of us. They have really filled us with the hope that the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina”, the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, the Agricultural University of Tirana, and the University of Korça “Fan S Noli” have an excellent potential for development and internationalization.
Also, we had Prof. Kati Partainen from the University of Applied Sciences of Savonia, Finland, who held many meetings with stakeholders for capacity building for the development of agriculture in Kosovo.
